Level of consciousness really is the defining point here. Because Uranus does not move quickly in transit, chances are your potential beloved has Uranus close to the same degree as you, which would mean they have a Venus/Uranus aspect. If you happen to have a Moon/Uranus square or opposition, and someone’s Venus comes along and parks on your Moon, you will have an “opportunity” to learn a lesson about your “come closer/get away” emotional needs. Who doesn’t like that? If the conjunction is somehow assisted by a nice aspect from any outer planet, so much the better. So the couple just look at each other and know what the other one wants and needs. Venus is bottom-line value system, Moon is your bottom-line emotional needs. This is the mooshy-squooshy aspect– yes, that is technical jargon, feel free to use it. Nothing beats someone’s Venus on your Moon. There is solace in knowing someone really has your back when the going gets tough.Today I was asked what I consider the “best” aspects in synastry between a couple. Water Moons will be there for each other to cry on, to hug and hold and brush their hair back, unjudging while the other lets it all out.įire Moons will get the other active, get them moving and distract or bring them out of their funk, know just how to breeze them out of whatever emotional depth they’d fallen into.Įarth Moons will comfort the other, make them a meal or easily take on a task or two to help lessen the burden of what’s weighing the other down. Again, it really depends on the rest of each person’s chart! When positive expressions come from Moon conjunct Moon, there is an innate knowing of how to soothe the other, a deep sense of understanding what the other is going through.Īir Moons will know what to say, how to cheer up a sad moon, how to put words to emotions they weren’t even sure they had. That being said, it can be beautifully tender and soothing when things are good. It can be hard to argue with an Earth moon while emotional, but frustration over rock meets immovable object is likely. Water Moons will actively BE very emotional, crying or getting angry or trying to avoid or manipulate the situation to get away from it (guilt-tactics can be seen here).įire Moons can argue and get physical, perhaps threatening physical harm or trying to intimidate the other.Įarth Moons are stubborn, often times taking the ‘you listen to me because I said so’ route. The fights can be monstrous, depending on the element of the moon.Īir Moons might verbally argue until they are blue in the face. With a parent and child, especially when that parent is the mother/figure, the blurred lines can be extremely disruptive for learning how to handle emotional boundaries. Empathy is VERY strong, and often the two can get lost in the emotional torrent and lose sight of who the other is for themselves. There is a similarity, or familiarity in what’s being felt between the two. Moon conjunct the Moon in synastry can be both amazingly wonderful and soothing, but also intensely emotional and hurtful, given the situation and what the rest of both parties’ charts are saying. This one is a personal experience, as I have moon conjunct moon with my mother.
